Alberta 1,100 Invitations Issued Across Multiple Draws
The Alberta Advantage Immigration Program (AAIP) has issued more than 1,100 invitations to apply for provincial nomination through multiple immigration draws held between July 3 and July 15, 2026.
The invitations targeted candidates across several immigration pathways, including healthcare professionals, law enforcement workers, rural community applicants, tourism and hospitality workers, and candidates under the Alberta Opportunity Stream. The latest rounds demonstrate Alberta’s continued focus on addressing labour shortages in key sectors while supporting regional economic growth.
More Than 1,100 Invitations Issued Across Multiple Draws
During the latest series of selection rounds, the AAIP invited candidates under several streams and pathways. The draws included invitations through :
- Alberta Opportunity Stream
- Alberta Express Entry Stream – Priority Sectors
- Rural Renewal Stream
- Tourism and Hospitality Stream
- Dedicated healthcare pathways
- Law Enforcement Pathway
